#22 ESEA-Invite: Classic Mixup vs. Mad Men in Events

Oh, duh. I totally forgot that Viaduct only went to 4 rounds instead of 5.

I wasn't even factoring Mixup's performance in since I don't really understand how the ranking works in situations like this. The way I was seeing it was the maximum RF that mad men can get is 51, and with AG already having 50 even if mad men beats them, if they take two rounds then that puts AG at 52 vs mad men at 51.

StratovariusViaduct's known as the great "scouts + demo" map. I feel like RR and Mike can definitely bring the thunder here and take a win off of Mix^. It'll probably be a 4-3 either way. If they DO win this it might give them the momentum they need to beat AG again and steal that LAN spot from them. Who knows?

Am I correct in saying that even if mad men win both games (vs Mixup and AG), all AG will have to do is take two rounds off of mad men during their match (even if it's a loss) and they'll still take the lan spot? Or is it a combination of RF/RA that determines seeding?

#19 fps drop recently? in Q/A Help

I reinstalled because the last update made my game really buggy, and that's helped me gain back 30+ frames (50-60 on midfights to 80-90).

#24 What do you do for a living? in Off Topic

I work in tech support and as an unpaid research assistant in the microbiology department at my university. The hours add up to full time, but the pay doesn't. However I enjoy both jobs thoroughly, and have enough money to eat and go out, so I'm happy.

#209 Who got you into comp TF2? in TF2 General Discussion

I was watching a lot of extv casts of ESEA-I matches, and that combined with the Moments of Glory series made me realize the ridiculous skill ceiling that this game has.

The Unicorns followed closely by The Smashing Pumpkins. For electronic acts I'd rank Todd Terje at number one, followed closely by Boddika/Joy Orbison and Burial.

Cycling and running are my main activities now, but I've been wanting to start playing hockey again.

I'm hoping for 5-4 in either direction, this should be an exciting game.

It just comes down to accepting the hand you've been dealt. All of the immaturity surrounding this has been ridiculous. Let's just act like adults for christs sakes

harbleuin AGs defense they did stomp us in a match. to make lan you gotta win against other lan teams, can't just win against all the other teams. AG have done that, now to see if mad men can.

The only glimpse of maturity in this thread.

Right? Ha

i live through fucking humidity every summer. 90 degree weather too hot? too bad, HERE'S FUCKING HUMIDITY

Same here. When I visited vegas a few years ago it got up to 115F. That temperature sucks, regardless, but I'd take it over >85F + 90% humidity. It just sucks the life out of you.
