the casual mode is actually a much bigger deal than it might seem. it really helps TF2 get away from the hat simulator mindset and into the competitive skill-based mindset.
i assume tomorrow they're gunna drop all the balance changes and nitty gritty details, can't wait. also thankful that i don't have to update yayahud for another day, since i've got shit to do today.
puoi1Didn't he fix the item panels getting cut off in his newest update?
if by "he" you mean Hypnotize, then yes.

committed hypnotize's update to the main branch in anticipation of the upcoming tf2 update. i'm going on vacation to a remote island for two weeks but as soon as i hear about the update dropping i will do my best to update yayahud over the 0.5mbps DSL available to me.
honestly though it might not happen until i get back - it's gunna be pretty hard to download an update that will likely be at least a gig over DSL.
protip: if you ask someone how good they are and they talk about how they were offered spots on a team, rather than actually saying what they've played at and how well they've done, they aren't worth talking to in the first place. not because they're bad at the game but because they're idiots.
ILLEGALELEPHANTGUNeveryone in this thread is talking out their ass.
...
my point is, $600 is more than enough to do schoolwork and run tf2. you could potentially have two machines that can accomplish both with more than enough overhead.
so that's literally what everyone else (with a serious suggestion) is saying too
k
aim-you have never played with me in your life
like theres 1 thing if u ever played with me but you are just blatantly lying at this point
i have never played with you because i myself don't even play competitive but that doesn't mean i don't know you're toxic
sa3lence_tf2 is on linux ya dingus
While the original statement is wrong, TF2 won't run on ChromeOS despite it being Linux-based because it's missing so many other libraries and necessary frameworks that TF2 and Steam as a whole need.
buy a used T440p with one of the higher end processors and pop an SSD in it.
This is a good starting place:

TF2 cares far more about your per-thread CPU power than GPU power. The GPU in this laptop is actually more than enough for TF2.
If you want more power but one that won't last quite as long as a Thinkpad (durability is important if you're gunna bring it everywhere...) try this:
