#13 Ryan Gosling won't eat his cereal in Off Topic
killemdeaderdfycan people just fuck off with these terrible threads, off topic doesn't mean post the most useless unfunny garbage you come across on the internet
Yes, because your bandwagon threads shitting on the hated tf.tv person of the day are so much better.

so is reviving a thread that should have died the day it was made

silitTried putting it in the tf folder too. Didn't work. Reinstalled the hud. Now tf2 doesn't launch. BEST UPDATE EVER DOOGS.

validate game then restart your computer to fix the launch issue

but since I don't know directories at all apparently I don't know how to fix your crosshair problems

#7 My hud is fucked. Help. It's in the right folder. in Q/A Help
silitjermangYou are not supposed to make an entire new folder for your HUD. Try putting the resource and scripts folder in your user folder

example: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\userstuff\resource

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\broselhud\resource

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom\userstuff\resource

THESE ARE THE SAME THINGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG HALLLLLLLLLLLP

i'm dumb kms

#10 laptop problems in Hardware

I found the problem to my laptop, haha. It turns out something set off the Windows Update and I was a behind on a BIOS update, and some other important update. My laptop has been working nicely ever since I've updated. Thank you for the help.

Jstn7477Could be a failing HDD (they can often die after a year or two of use). Download and run HDTune, and check your SMART health status. There will be yellow or red bars highlighting some attributes if there is an issue. http://www.hdtune.com/files/hdtunepro_550_trial.exe

Thank you, I will try this now :D

OblivionageFirst if you don't have an anti-virus then it's probably something you downloaded.
What laptop is it?
Maybe you have a damaged harddrive? If it keeps acting up just send it in to get it fixed/replaced

I have an antivirus, and I literally have not downloaded anything except a HUD and QLprism in the past month.

It is a HP Pavilion G6.

Mr_PerfectSome great anti-virus software: Malwarebytes, Malwarebytes Chameleon(Comes with MBytes) and, assuming you have windows, Microsoft Security Essentials... I think its essentials but just google Microsoft Security and it will come up.

I have MSE. It said my computer was fine but it still acted very unresponsive at random times. I also do have windows.

2c1. virii

2. hd dyin

Probably. I might have to take it into a shop, but I don't know what I could have done in the past week to make it so bad

#1 laptop problems in Hardware

Over the past week or so, my laptop has been acting up to the point where I can hardly do anything on it. Over the past two days, my laptop has constantly been unresponsive and slow and just this morning/afternoon, I was forced to do a system restore because my laptop said it could not find a working version of Windows. I haven't had this computer for over a year, and before this week, it has been working fine. I can almost gaurantee I haven't downloaded any malicious software, or anything that would make my computer act this way. Does anyone know what could be causing this, or a way to fix this?
