no you got banned cause you picked a team and then didn't show up.
doesn't help that you complained about never getting picked hours before.

I didn't show... because I can't play medic. Dumb mistake and I apologized, but I don't understand why it's so upsetting.

You can't not be able to play medic in a pug, you just follow your team around and press m1

tscThe site is built with Polymer 1.0, which guarantees support for the latest version of each browser. Unfortunately, if you're not using the latest version, there's not really anything we can do to fix your browser not working or make sure it keeps working if it's working right now.
I'm using the latest version of Edge (as of this writing, 10586) and the website doesn't work. Also doesn't work in IE 11.

Is it only going to be sizzlingstats on the servers or will logs be added at some point soon?

logs are already on the server...
logs are already on the server...
There's one or two servers that pugchamp uses that only have sizzlingstats -- unless that was changed within the past day or two. Not sure which though as I only notice when logs.tf doesn't show it.

Yeah when I played last night on #9 there was only sizzlingstats, didn't realise logs were on the other servers, my bad.

I feel like the best solve for fat kidding is literally making an open page, an IM page, and an invite page. It would help open players get out of lobbies and into pugs, since the only frequent way to get practice other than lobbies, since you can only scrim so often because of availability, and most PUG groups only have games during scrim times. If money is the problem, us fat kids could all probably pitch in.

you already suggested this, and people already explained why that's not a good idea.

It's banned in esea - it just happened that pugme servers had an old white list and allowed it

The current whitelist is the ESEA Season 20 whitelist as reflected on whitelist.tf. We plan to create a PUG-specific whitelist, but haven't had the time to consult with players and decide what items will be changed.

pug specific whitelists are dumb, pugs should reflect actual league play as close as possible.

yes indeed I see AT LEAST one charge n targe or sticky jumper used in every one of my matches, I need to practice against this.

if its never used why ban it. If people are retarded, just ban them. If someone ie going to throw you probably dont want them playing anyway

And if it's never used then people won't miss it when it isn't whitelisted. I'd rather not deal with it at all then have to sit through it until the player gets replaced/banned.

Pugs are a different beast than league play simply because they should not only mirror league play as much as possible but preemptively stop idiots from ruining them.
If someone ruins a scrim then everyone can hate them on their team that they are playing with all season and other teams can blacklist them. If someone runs a useless loadout in a match it can cause their team to lose in a more serious environment where they actually paid money to compete. There aren't really those same checks in place for pug environments.
So really there isn't an argument to be made because if someone is running a stupid loadout they are are likely:
1. Not trying/trolling thus ruining the pug for others 99.999% of the time.
2. The pug is a roll for/against them and they should be running an actually useful loadout regardless.

I agree with you here for stuff like targe & sticky jumper, but I think it's too far when the white list becomes restrictive to the point that things like dhit/lib launcher/huntsman are banned. For example, the dh isn't used in 99% of esea matches but that is not to say that as soon as somebody equips it they are instantly throwing/ruining the pug or that they deserve to be banned.
It seems to me that a lot of these vary on a case-to-case basis, so in a perfect world the ESEA whitelist would be better because admins are able to judge each individual scenario, but since that's not the case (and nobody is really a fan of constant policing) a pug-specific whitelist is miles easier

I've never understood why fat kidding is considered a "problem" when fat kidding is actually the solution. Everyone wants fun, balanced, and competitive games. Forcing captains to pick inferior players is exactly what you don't want to be doing. Captains should be motivated to pick the best teams possible because that will result in fun, balanced, competitive games, and Pugchamp actually does a really good job of this by giving players ELO/rankings.
If you're not getting picked that's okay -- you should look for other ways to play with people of a similar skill level rather than stretching yourself too far and trying to play with people out of your league.

This is what people are asking for as far as I can tell. They want a mirror of the site that lower level players can use because they love the site but can't necessarily play with the people on PugChamp. Really they could probably just host a mirror themselves though seeing as the site is open source.
