Hello,

Earlier this year for Rewind Lan I assembled together stats and wrote down an analysis but only shared it on reddit, so for the first time I'm posting this on tf.tv to see what you guys think. I've been working on a follow-up for i61 ever since it ended last weekend, and after so many hours it's finally done. This one should be a major improvement over the Rewind one as I've added a lot more graphs and content, so be prepared for a long read. You might see some differences with the stats I got and the ones on GentlemanJon's spreadsheet which might be because he used his own stat system while I had to manually copy down all the stats from the logs pages, but those differences shouldn't be anything too big. Please leave any feedback or suggestions if you have any, or let me know if you catch any mistakes.

Menty’s death rate is understandably the highest since Weebtunnel was only able to win one map against an invite team during the whole
weekend.

Its minor but we actually won 2 maps :/

TF2 turns into an american sport with stats and stuff, BUT there is still no damage dealt vs damage taken difference. I think it's a different one than damage dealt per health point received. Truly good players deal damage without taking lots and it is not clear who is the best in that regard without that stat.

TwiggyTF2 turns into an american sport with stats and stuff, BUT there is still no damage dealt vs damage taken difference. I think it's a different one than damage dealt per health point received. Truly good players deal damage without taking lots and it is not clear who is the best in that regard without that stat.

You're absolutely right and it's the only stat I regret not taking down from the logs. I'll be sure to include it in the next one.

when you say that "dpm really doesn't matter", what you really mean is that OVERALL dpm is misleading, because it has so much to do with how stalematey team's games are

within a single game, dpm is prolly the most descriptive stat of performance

Only zoob knows how it works and logs.tf is not open source (serveme isn't either) It'd be interesting to know why from zoob/arie (i can't find an answer on either websites)

pretty sure as long as the target is in the air and takes explosion damage it counts as an airshot no matter the distance to the floor
