A legend has fallen, but he will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Yomps <3
Rest in peace yomps. I will forever have the memories of pugging/lobbying with you way back. Meeting you at LAN was like seeing an old friend I knew for years.
RIP man, so sad and unexpected still can't believe it
Thank you for all the wonderful memories you gave us.
Rest in Peace brother, Legends never die

Any cause/explanation for his passing yet? Genuinely curious since this is so sudden.
i dont really have words. imo no one in modern tf2 reinvented the game like he did. he was the x-factor for giving froyo competition, then he joined them and dominated on an entirely new class. to the people who knew him as more than just a player, you have my deepest condolences. i never knew him personally but from watching his streams he seemed like a genuinely great guy. rest in peace. farewell yomps.
fuck man, dude was always one of my biggest inspirations in this game, always brought so much heart and fun wherever he went. rest in peace to one of the best to ever do it.
If I've learned anything over my time on this planet, it's to never take anything for granted. Cherish every moment you share with those who you love, because life is precious.
And even after someone passes on, remember that nothing can take away the memories you've shared with them, nor the impacts they've made upon on you. Keep those memories close, and never let them fade away.
RIP to a legend, much love from all of us to his family/friends.

Rest in Peace, Yomps.
Always chased after his image to improve myself as a player. Truly a legend that will be remembered as an amazing person and player.

Really sad to hear such a great person and amazing player passing away so suddenly. Condolences go out to his friends and family.
Do what you love everyday, and love who you love in your life every second man.
I never met Yomps but I had so much respect for him. He was a prime example of bettering yourself while having love for it at the same time. I don't care for how the man died, I want to know how he lived, and what his legacy was for him and others.
I would like to ask though if there could be a memorial stream like there was with Miggy. I would want his family to know how much of an impact he made with our community and others outside. Also I am down to help the family through this time may it be donations, letters, etc.

absolutely devastating to read about this tragic news. sincere condolences to his family and friends.
whenever I tuned into his stream, yomps appeared to not only be wildly gifted at TF2, but - more importantly - came across as a kind and gentle soul.
to zilly/rando/whoever else may be in contact with the family: when the time is right, I'd love to learn more about what I/we can do to help with any expenses incurred as a result of yomps' sudden passing, and to just know what his family needs at this time (monetary or not).
again, much love to his family, friends, and yomps himself. RIP [+]

Any questions about cause of death, or speculation of death, will be met with a ban here on out. Have some respect for yomps' friends & family, please. This is the only warning I will give and I imagine everybody who has mod powers who still lurks this hellsite will follow my lead.
It seemed like yesterday I was clipping your big brain plays like standing on somebody's head on Snake last, lamenting with Wyatt over how you left Ascent to join froyotech, or watching you grin and nod along to Bren and Sideshow's UK football jeers in rhythm at Rewind II. We didn't know each other beyond association with Ascent and some photos I took of you at LANs, but thank you for what you gave to us and your friends & family.
I hope they'll be well and I hope you find peace.

Awful news, my heart goes out to all of his family and friends. He pretty much single-handedly reinvented the way pocket is played and his name will forever be etched in TF2's history. RIP, far too young.
