Ire was a prominent member within the casting/production space. The amount of projects, casts, articles, administration, and overall assisting they’ve done for this community wouldn’t fit on just a single piece of paper, nor multiple pages in all honesty. I remember ire helping ya boy get on his feet whenever I wanted to learn how to cast.

I will never forget the times spent in makkabeus’ mumble making one another laugh.

You were a fantastic person, a loyal friend, and the best that this community has had for all the work you’ve done. We’re so grateful to have had someone like you in our tiny little community.

Rest in peace ire. Thank you for everything.

ire was always one of the people dedicated to making things happen behind the scenes without any expectation of thanks or support. The infrastructure of this scene runs on the back of people like ire who have a deep love for this game.

When I was actively observing matches for TFTV they consistently made my life much easier by handling the responsibility of coordinating with players for STV and rcon info, and any general communications. Anyone who's done production knows that this is a significant workload to take on, especially if you're also busy setting up all your observer shit for the cast.

Many people here probably don't know who ire was, but it's most likely their actions have directly made your TF2 experience a little better at some point or another because that's just who they were.

Rest In Peace.

ire was always a bright spot in the community. The amount of hats she wore while helping the TF2 scene cannot be understated. They were undoubtedly a superstar who carried a ton of work behind the scenes.

They will be missed dearly. Rest in peace. My condolences to her family and friends.

Wish I would have stayed closer. Late night ultiduo will never be the same. I'm gonna miss her a lot.

She was a good friend and someone who relentlessly tried to make the scene better. So young too, a complete tragedy.

I don't think I'll ever stop gushing about what a joy it was to work with ire. Their dedication was limitless, their spirit was infectious, and they had grown so much from when they first joined tftv/the overall competitive TF2 scene. They were a hell of a producer assisting those who were broadcasting the matches with all of the little details to elevate the production. Their impact was well known amongst those behind the scenes of the casts.

Rest in peace, ire. I'm going to miss the hell out of you.

I had the privilege of getting to know Ohia after meeting her in the TFTV staff slack. Since I met her, I watched her write some of the best articles and puns maybe in the sites history, pulled her into casting after forming a friendship, and spending so much time with her playing TF2 and CS. She poured her entire heart into this game and community, and tried so hard to improve every organization she was a part of. I was extremely lucky to be her chosen sister, and both of us had supported each other constantly during our transitions.

I'm gonna miss you so much ire I love you so much

As a writer, as a caster, as a producer, as an admin, a coordinator, a mentor, an organiser, Ohia put her heart and soul into this community, as with so much that she did, and I can only be glad I got to work with her for the short time I did. After what she had been through, to have reached the light at the end of the tunnel and be gone almost immediately... rest in peace, and all love to the family that you built.

Super hard-working and cared a lot about the scene, and always gave things 100% effort. Was privileged enough to call them a friend. I will miss the late-night 3 am ultiduo pings, DnD, and just shooting the shit in Discord (especially our collective hatred of Makkabeus). Gone way too soon, you will be dearly missed. Rest in peace.

I am glad that I had the pleasure to work with Ohia because she was a fantastic, committed, and - most importantly - kind individual. She had tremendous drive in trying to improve the scene in their own way; interested in all the different aspects of the TF2 volunteer space, from adminning to production and casting. Their passing is a massive blow to the community and is something that I'm still processing, gone too soon.

The messages here shows the impact she had on others and their infectious personality is one that I will dearly miss. My thoughts go to the family and friends, rest in piece.

There are few people that I know that put as much passion and dedication into competitive TF2 as ire did, and I have nothing but fond memories of joking with ire in the TFTV writing room back in the day. She deserved so much better.

Hadn't had the pleasure to work with them on a LAN, but nothing but good experiences. Rest in peace, wishing the best to their friends and family
