Mumble Not Responding Issue

Wasn't sure where to put this. I've been having an issue recently (well, maybe a month or two now) where Mumble will constantly, while in-game stop responding for about 20 seconds. I can hear everyone talking, but I can't be heard/can't transmit. This happens roughly once every 2-3 minutes, if not more often. I've tried reinstalling about 3 times now and have used back versions as well as the most recent version (including the snapshot).

Does anybody know what might be the problem? Could it be the overlay?

It might be your internet. Is your gameplay affected at all?

The only thing it's screwing up is me dropping comms for several seconds at random times. The game itself runs fine. I just can't figure out what is causing my overlay issues.

i have this issue. it's miserable. If you want to get around the not being able to talk thing, you have to use voice activity(that's what i use). i'm considering reformatting my ssd and reinstalling windows just to fix it. I've tried re-installing all of my audio drivers, windows drivers, and asked the admins on the sourceforge forums with no luck.

I thought I was the only one with this issue... It's weird because I never had this issue with 1.2.3, but ever since I installed 1.2.4, so this June, I had that issue.

I still have this issue but it's not as bad since I installed a snapshot of 1.2.5 and run it as admin. That seemed to have fixed it for like a couple of months but now this issue is back ;_;

I feel like disabling my overlay has fixed it. I'm not 100% sure though.

If you guys are playing League of Legends (I know), I also tried disabling the overlay for the client (it seems to want to run it in-client for some reason), and it seemed to work (I put the client on blacklist for the overlay). I think when the client is on it conflicts with the other windows that try to run the mumble overlay.

If not, then I'm not sure. Disabling the overlay period seemed to help.

Edit: Could it be just running any 2 programs that it tries to overlay on will cause the issue?
