game has promise, without new exciting gamemodes i dont know how it doesnt suffer from the same fate as quake though.

matchmaking/ladders - though the dev in grape's stream chat last night said both were "high priority", but his language made it sound like it hadn't even been started yet
additionally his language made it sound like the reflex devs are working on this project in their spare-time vs being full-time committed devs. I'm admittedly a big game dev pessimist (thanks NS2), but this game might take well over a year to hit a final release that hits on all of their planned features. Maybe this is all the more reason to spend your 10 bux so they can commit more time to it.....

VaporeonI really hope they make it less gpu taxing because for me atleast in its current state it isnt playable :(

The tele exit is a bit bugged atm, a fix is in the works. It also disables a+d strafing for a short while after coming out of a tele

Nah, teles are supposed to reset your ups to 400, happens in CPM too
but the strafing thing is a bug

Nah, teles are supposed to reset your ups to 400, happens in CPM too
but the strafing thing is a bug

On a side note, I can't seem to do a few of the jumps that you could on old cpma 3a, maybe lack or practice but it seems tele jump and long stair jump to mega is not consistent.

your stock config is named "game" so type save game
and it will save the config, make a back up of it on put it on your desktop or your settings are going to get wiped every update.

Just reposting a movement overview video guide to newer players that was posted on the reflex fps forums. Even if you are familiar with the movement mechanics of quake/cpm/whatever he does go into some more reflex specific mechanics towards the end.
Also all tf2 players are familiar with rocket jumping mechanics :D

As far as I know aliases are not supported as of now, but the developers have been made aware that this is something that is important along with customizable hud, hitsound, weapon config, etc. and are probably going to be added at a later date.
