I just figured I should let windows 7 and 8 users who dont want to upgrade on how to stop the upgrade from happening as well as get rid of the nag. Get a program called GWX control pannel For those concerned with the sketchy ass website cheek out never 10, I dont think his program has the ability to remove gwx all the way though.

nopeexcept with additional input lag

it'll never be as good as fullscreen but it works as well as it did in 7 windowed without dwm.
