these guys right here pre workout and then a protein mixed with simple or complex carb based meal(complex burns energy slower) after your workout. the reason for carbs post workout is so you're not dead tired and for glycogen to help repair muscle. But no matter how many protein shakes or bars you eat the only way you're really going to get bigger is eating eating eating (you have to mix cardio in your workout too) and getting proper sleep

Nut fat is pretty much the best fat there is. If you don't go over your overall calorie target, eating nuts will not make you fat, especially if you eat fewer short carbs in exchange for the nuts.
Main argument against nuts is they're pretty expensive here at least.

Anybody know of a protein bar that doesn't make your mouth drier than a girl gamer in mumble with a pyro main? I like those cliff builder bars but they make me so thirsty.
