So I like play scout always on pugs with a ping of 200+(cause i can),But Does anybody know a good interp or something to write on autoexec to help me with my registration problems,Because my shots don't register:C

With ping exceeding 140, use default interp (0.1)

This is the only thing that can be done. You might try praying to Odin but this is risky as Odin is temperamental and may enjoy your suffering.

The higher the interp the better your hitreg will be. However, things will be displayed much later.

latency is compensated for

if you have choke or loss lower updaterate or get a better connection or stop playing on servers from other continents

this is a nice thread, everyone's giving good advice.
The reason to use cl_interp 0.1 for really high ping connections isn't because it's actually inherently better for more latent connections, but because higher ping goes hand-in-hand with high jitter/an unstable connection/packet loss.
having "very" high interp (like default) fixes this, but beware projectiles will come out later like this, as always when you raise it. so yeah bloodsire's right, just wanted to give some reasoning.
