I feel bad for a lot of the legit open teams who got forced into this.

I can afford to register our team for IM if it saves the game.

If it is possible, I will move up to IM with my roster, but since they have already been merged, I am unsure if it is possible to just revive IM a day after

I didn't know this was happening until this morning. Like I only checked the forums these past couple of days when I saw what happened with the divs :(

In my defense, one person informed me that there was a good chance another team would move up and so I would be fine. I was willing, just was informed that I didn't need to. So I would appreciate if people would stop saying I killed IM when I was given false information, thanks.

Alright chill. It's been a problem for all divisions over the last few seasons. We try and save IM every season - whether it's competitive IM teams dying or Open teams refusing to move up - everyone was complacent with the division being on life support season after season and that's where we are now, but we don't have to burn these Open teams / players at the stake for it.

Sandbaggers have no excuse though, go fuck yourselves.

nice sustainable competitive video game we have where we need to constantly beg and guilt people into playing a division higher than they want to or playing at all when they dont want to

The way esea handles deadlines always seems so fuckey to me. Nobody has any clue how many teams are payed until after registration but we're still expected to fill all the slots without knowing how many slots there are to fill. If they would have taken one extra day before refunding and moving teams for tri to come here and say 'yo we need one more team' this wouldn't have been an issue. That's what happened with invite since we know all the teams beforehand and 2 teams stepped up.

They never have to worry about deadlines for CS:GO because they know they'll have enough teams. Not the case for TF2
