The Bus changes part of its Crew

The Bus Crew has announced changes to two of its players in the third week of action in ETF2L Premiership. The team has made a strong showing in the Premiership qualifiers late last month and are currently sitting at the fifth place in the Premiership standing after tying with Ascent.EU and losing to the bin.

botmode and tobs are leaving to get off at the next bus stop to pursue other opportunities. botmode has stated he's planning to dedicate more of his time to Quake Champions to prepare for future tournaments and tobs is building his application to become an ETF2L admin as he leaves to Japan for the summer.

Replacing the former SVIFT NA scout is Deox, a familiar face for The Bus Crew, as he has been a sub for the team this season and a formerly a part of the main roster that competed in ETF2L Season 29 and at Copenhagen Games 2018. The Scot Scout broke through Prem in Season 25 with 3/6 and was also a member of the Season 28 Nunya squad. He brings to the table some strong offclassing capabilities, with multiple seasons of Spy in Prem Highlander under his belt.

Swapping with tobs is the French roamer and Twitch chat extraordinaire dmoule, lastly seen in Prem with LEGO in season 28. The SMOrc soldier has been around the top level for quite a while now, most notably managing two third-place finishes with LEGO. The frenchie is surely looking to be the source of many sharp pains in the enemies feet during his tenure with The Bus Crew.

Team leader Yohn enthusiastically shared his thoughts about the team.

Despite us playing very well as a team in ETF2L and at Copenhagen Games, I thought there'd be nothing to lose to trial other players and perhaps bring on a fresh batch of gamers. In addition to that, I noticed some very exciting opportunities in the recruitment posts, eventually contacting PolygoN and botmode for trials. I continued to play with alba, tobs, Deox and Poison but as trials, despite already being on the roster.

Piece by piece it came together, with botmode and PolygoN both joining while alba and tobs maintained their original positions. Marten and I were going to stay on the team regardless and run it together. Two weeks in, I got notified by botmode that he would rather commit to Quake in preparation for the upcoming Quake Champions events. I contacted Deox and he stepped in for botmode. We also learned that Tobs is leaving to Japan to pursue his Anime goals ("summer vacation" he claims). This was a slightly trickier bump, as finding a permanent Roamer for Tobs proved to be a struggle. I reached out to dmoule and poison, and after an abundance of squabbling and debating, they both agreed to share the Roamer spot. We eventually came to an agreement where dmoule will play officials and as many scrims as he can, whilst poison will be our #1 Roamer sub and play when dmoule isn't available.”
