The conclusion of week one sees our first dead team, another rising from the ashes, and few upset wins. alpaca with computer will crumble under the weight of too many Canadians, while mr owls tf2 legacy can proudly wear the crown of first team to kill another this season.

Getawhale's crew will continue to hold down the top spot, despite swapping out arekk for scizor. They had one match versus Egyptian flamingos that went just about as expected, with the flamingos able to muster 2 rounds on the back of some huge damage from Hassassin, but ultimately the rest of Getawhale proved too hot to handle. They will be taking on Meat Market and Pizzagon, two games that could prove to be pretty close depending on how scizor is able to step in with his new team.

MAD LUX will continue to hold the number 2 spot down for the foreseeable future, and they most likely won't be tested until maybe their match versus egyptian flamingos. This team has a very easy schedule for the first couple weeks so look for them to hover around the top until they play another top 4 team.

The first two matches saw limited difficulties for trip and his bwais, dropping only 3 rounds total between egyptian flamingos and Cloud 9. Their 5-2 against flamingos showed that even if trip doesn't put out the damage he has in the past, Safrix, Kanon, and Muffinz are all capable of stepping up their game. Match comms showed dissent among the flamingos ranks, with dflame saying, "put a bunch of 12 years olds on the same team and you have z fighters." Regardless of any BM, the fighters proved solidly who the better team was.

The last of the teams with no changes, week 1 saw Pizzgon picking up a FFW and a drawn out 5-1 versus Nineteen (formerly Dino Riders). This match saw Botmode and cloudmaker putting out a lot of damage, with raytek and sen doing a great job of cleaning up frags. Their match versus Getawhale should be a good indicator of what this team is really made of.

Meat Market came out ready to prove me wrong and show their skill even while offclassing. Picking up 10 rounds across two matches while not dropping one, they made it very clear that they aren't going to be joking around this season. An easy week one may prove for a tough transition as they're going to need all hands on deck if they want to take down Getawahle Fanclub in what could prove to be a very telling match. In both of their matches all of their scouts have been above 300 DDM so this might be the scout combo to do it.

A new comer to this list, mr owls tf2 legacy made their mark by killing the former inhabitants of the #6 spot, alpaca with computer. In a close 5-3 game, skyrolla and air both pumped out massive amounts of damage for the flank to clean up on, with air top fragging over everyone in the server. This team's combo could prove to be one of the better in IM, but what remains to be seen is whether their flank will match up with that of other top teams.

From the broken remains of Ding Dong Daddies comes Part Time Fraggers. This is a no scrim team but they should be good enough to beat the bubble teams in IM right now. There is no solid info on their classes but meany of them can compete in IM on a lot of them (Upio can only scout)

The so called 'spergiest team in IM' showed that they have a ways to go if they want to compete at the top. An admittedly diffcult starting schedule means this team dropped both matches convincingly, but with some work they could end up beating the lower half of my top 8. Losing to both Nineteen and Part Time Fraggers would be a disaster for this season, but if they can beat Nineteen and hang with the Fraggers there is some hope left for them this season.
Other Teams: Satan Take The Wheel and Nineteen will need to step it up if they want to make it to top 8. Both of these teams came out of the gate looking week and will need to make some improvements to be close with any of the good teams.
