That should be more than enough to run TF2 and most other games at high to max quality. I have an i5-3570 and have never gotten lag in 6v6, though it occasionally would drop below 60 fps in pubs when I tried max quality. Borderlands 2 and most other games also run fine for me on high or max settings, with a worse video card (GTX 560 Ti). So you should be fine.

You might want a better power supply. 400W seems low, but I'm not sure.

But really, I can't imagine that it's any different from the rest of the Midwest. I grew up in Kansas, which is basically the same...it's hot and humid in the summer, cold in the winter and snows a couple of times. I haven't noticed that the people there were any more or less friendly than anywhere else. Probably as much racism as most other places in the country outside of the deep South.

There are definitely more conservative/religious people in the Midwest than on the East or West coast though. But unless you care a lot about politics or something, it's pretty easy to ignore it.

Try to think of some long-term goals as well, like what kind of job you want, what kind of lifestyle, etc. Your goals don't necessarily need to be materialistic, although that is motivating for a lot of people. But bear in mind that choosing a career path isn't always just about income (or at least it shouldn't be imo); some jobs allow for a lot more autonomy, creativity, contribution to society, etc. than others. Once you have long-term goals you can break them down into short-team goals.

Some schools do. I've gotten MS Office, Windows, and other programs for free, and my school is on that list anyway. It's easier to just pirate things anyway because it's a pain in the ass to get another key when you reformat or get a new hard drive.

Yeah, it seems legit. There are 3 days left on the auction though, and people tend to wait until the last minute to bid, so the price goes up quite a bit at the end. You could just ask the seller about shipping if you're not sure, but I would imagine that you will end up paying quite a bit to have it shipped to Isreal.

Just do what he did. Give her some stuff with personal significance--something that you really thought about and put effort into means a lot more than just flowers. Flowers are nice, but everyone does that and it's not very personal. I think it would be best if she knew it was from you from the start. Then you could do what kuza suggested, or just write everything in a letter with the gift. I guess some people think you should always say stuff like that in person, but to me, I think it might make it less awkward for both of you, and she would have time to really think about what she wants.
