4670k @ 4.3ghz here, never dips below 230 fps on dx81 config (crossfire 7870s - doubt dx9 would hurt my frames at all)
you definitely want to at least get a mild oc going for better frames in tf2
(i'd go higher but ambient temps are too high atm for it lol)

yewl4670k @ 4.3ghz here, never dips below 230 fps on dx81 config (crossfire 7870s - doubt dx9 would hurt my frames at all)
you definitely want to at least get a mild oc going for better frames in tf2

my 4770k overclocked can go to like 800 or even more crazy shit sometimes, cap it at 240. its essentially a 4670k with hyper threading

bearodactylmy 4770k overclocked can go to like 800 or even more crazy shit sometimes, cap it at 240. its essentially a 4670k with hyper threading

Can some one tell me the difference between 4770k and 4670k?
Are they not basically the same cant i get like 240fps with a 4670k OC,d?
On max settings? Or Medium

what it does it essentially add 4 'virtual' cores to the 4 physical cpu cores of the 4670k - but no games at the moment can utilize more than 4, rendering the virtual cores useless for gaming
