Im wondering who is advantaged in a Demo vs Soldier MGE.
I dont see any of those Matchups in high level play because people dont like the sticky spam :).
Who you think now gonna win more likely on top level play.
I would say Soldier but I think it was ruwin (on his stream) who said Demo beats scout and soldier in 1on1. (and he indeed beat marmadukeGrylls as demo)
Ofc we are talking about MGE maps besides Ammomod. (afaik its too close that demo can stand a chance)

soldier/scout generally win versus demomen unless the demo is REALLY good. bullet is the only demo i've played that can wreck as demo versus scout/soldier. badlands mid sucks cuz demos can spam so much before you even see them with spawn noises

well. platinum demo beating TLR soldier or Plat demo play round about 15-20 vs Yz50 scout are more. they dont prove anything but still.

demo is the strongest class in the game. Demoman can beat any class in this entire game if the player has the skill, but scout and soldier have better dm potential with less skill required (no offense to people who main the class). In mge the scout should always win if he has a brain and good dm. A soldier vs demo is a coin flip either can win.

haha ya man i remember the last time i mindlessly shot 12 things into a choke as fast as i could on scout/soldier and watched 9 kill notices show up
scout is incredibly tedious and mechanically involved to play and soldier is ass unless ur midrange or closer

its mge. it's also good practice to play against people who beat you whether or not they are or have cheated

depends on the map and the player
the scouts that are the hardest to beat in mge arent necessarily the best in game, for instance yz50 isnt that great vs demos but someone like dante was almost unbeatable

maps where a really good scout should prolly beat a demo every time imo: granary last, badlands middle
maps where a demo would win every time: gran mid, gully mid, snakewater
even maps: viaduct
