I've been working on a short fragmovie recently and I've run into an issue that's becoming pretty bothersome. In most of the demos that I'm working with (some are old but some weren't from that long ago) the weapon models of the characters in-game aren't showing. It seems like the weapons mostly don't show for soldier but I've seen it happen with scouts as well. I've tried starting the demos at earlier ticks but that didn't work out. There isn't too much else that I've tried so far. Here's a screenshot of the issue:

And another small issue I've had with older demos is the scout reload and shoot animations aren't playing properly, the viewmodel just kind of remains motionless on one still frame for reloading and one for shooting. Would using the pre-halloween 2013 mode fix this or should I go about it some other way? I remember back in the day there used to be a zip with viewmodel fixes but I'm not sure if those work anymore.
The viewmodel problem is probably something I can mess with a bit more to try to solve, I'm stumped for the player model one though. Thanks.
