Does anyone know how to get rid of the shiny dx9 models? It an eyesore whenever I try to play ,because dx81 always crashes :(

weird, quite the opposite happens to me. I have it set to 0 on dx9, everything looks normal.

My tf2 settingd got messed up somehow and made me play in dx9 which makes my computer get major fps drops and everything on the screen was blindingly white and shiny :<
