The NA 6v6 Newbie Mix is hosting a team drive to recruit new players into this coming season of ESEA-Open.

ESEA is the premiere league for TF2 in North America, and has been supporting the game for 18 seasons. Open is its lowest division, and anyone can sign up. That said, there are some perceived difficulties some players run into when approaching their first season of open. These difficulties include networking and teambuilding skills.

Run by the Newbie Mix admins, this drive will hook up six players with no ESEA experience with each other and provide them with a season-long, veteran coach. This coach will help the team of newbies blow past the perceived barriers of entry by helping them register for the league, explaining payments, going over the client, sharing tips, watching STV demos, and answering any questions the newbies may have.

Signing up in this drive as a starter is a big time commitment, as most ESEA teams scrim 4 or 5 nights a week. This isn't a decision to make lightly, but if you're seriously wanting to improve at TF2 and build strong relationships with other players, this is a great opportunity to do so.
