A couple of weeks ago I moved to a new apartment for school, due to the building's router being in the basement and me being on the second floor the internet connection was pretty bad and I was unable to run an Ethernet cable to my computer.
I bought a powerline adapter to try and fix this since they're supposed to give you a stable connection but this has not helped very much and my ping constantly spikes up very high and is often unusable (played my last two esea match with 200+ ping for most of the time). It is an old building so the wiring is questionable.
I was wondering if anybody has any ideas of how I could fix this.
