I need help with my fps in game. For some reason when I'm playing tf2 my fps would drop whenever a cloaked friendly or an enemy spy would show up on my screen or if my crosshair would come across a cloaked spy. It gets really annoying sometimes because there can be a spy not even in my range while I'm fighting a scout and it would throw off my aim by the sudden fps drop. If there is anyone who knows anything about this or can help me with this I would greatly appreciate it.
I don't know if this helps:
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm)II X4 620 Processor 2.60 GHz
Also I'm using the maxfps config

i used to get that, it was actually kinda useful in comp because i could tell whenever the other team had a spy whenever i lagged. needless to say it made pubbing very not fun though. i think changing my video card fixed it for me, not sure what causes it.

I used to have this for a short time, it fixed itself after a random tf2 update.
No idea what causes it / how to fix.
