Redshirthello all I have no idea what this is about but I love lasagna the food. it is delicious, easy, and cheap to make (though time consuming). I don't know who would vote against lasagna in a poll but that is probably illegal because it is so good.
my favorite lasagna recipe involves grabbing a good bolognese sauce recipe and assembling the casserole with ricotta or cottage cheese and spices, roasted or sauteed vegetables (roast red peppers yourself for extra flavor), and some precooked lasagna noodles. if you got 'oven ready' lasagna, at least soak it to prevent undercooked noodles.
of course, lasagna is versatile and very delicious. I also like lasagnas made with white sauce (don't use store bought it sucks) and butternut squash. look up how to make a good bechamel sauce if you do this because I kept messing that stuff up.
I mix and match recipes now because I have some sauces I prefer but here is a good recipe to start your lasagna adventure with: http://thepioneerwoman.com/cooking/the_best_lasagn/
thank you and please enjoy lasagna
