Basically would there be any interest for EU open/mid teams to scrim some serious games of cp_gravelpit and/or ctf_turbine pro for fun. I miss these maps and serious team play on them. As it is soon to be off season for ETF2L I hope there are at least a few teams interested.
I am pessimistic about the response but maybe there is a few teams who are down to mix up and have some fun on these maps even just for one or 2 nights.
What does serious team play on these maps mean to you?
You'd think these maps would be fun but after a single game you'll hate them like we all did back then
I used 2 play it back in an old ETF2L season. I enjoyed it very much. I know most people are unwilling to scrim it, but i thought i'd see if there was at least one response from a team willing to scrim. @nyk By 'serious team play' I just mean like actually taking the time to think about what to do on the map and trying to win.
out of all maps i enjoyed playing turbine the most in the season i played
idk why this guy wants ppl to play it though, if the intention is to get them back into the league, thats just not going to happen cause the game is already too far in to just have new gamemodes in the map pool. he didnt mention he wanted to, but thats the only reason i assume he wants it played
you'd best set aside an hour and a half for that gpit bo3 then.
gpit and turbine are the furthest thing from pug maps i can imagine
No intention to bring them back, I have 0 expectations of that being a possibility in ETF2L. Literally just enjoy playing these maps in a keen team environment, Also why on Earth would we need 1hr 30 mins for gpit bo3. Average cap time of C is 5-12 mins.
