While I can understand the appeal of a "gaming chair", I've found that they're almost always super overpriced. Try just looking for a comfortable office chair that, while not as cool looking, can offer many of the same benefits and comforts as a gaming chair, but at a fraction of the cost.

durability can tend to be the issue, and it's primarily with the quality of foam they use, if they use foam at all
you tend to get what you pay for with chairs. are there shitty knock-off gamer chairs? absolutely. are there cheap chairs at Staples or whatever that are fine? yes. but overall, you do tend to get what you pay for. in my experience anyway.
