Question going out to the Scout MGE lords of primarily America:
Which matchup do you think is the more useful in terms of actually practicing for Six v Six? Scout v Soldier or Scunt v Scunt?
I'm just asking to see what other people think I think its really equal but I wonder if most people think one is better to practice than the other.

Scout v soldier incorporates both movement and aiming in order for you not to be 2 rocketed
scout v scout is aim only and usually (for me atleast) scout v scouting the same opponent over and over makes it harder to 1v1 other people

all are good to do occassionally, but scout v soldier is probably the best (as long as you dont play mega passive)

for me tho scout v scout incoperates a lot of movement but its like more subtle. like if theres a scout that is better than me the problem is his dodging is better but not rly aim

I'd say scout v scout because scout v soldier in game is generally scout favored because the soldier usually bombs your demo or med and you get to use positional advantage a lot more.
Whereas scout v scout lets you deal with isolated scouts that need clean up or to force enemy scouts to chase you while still having a good chance to win the 1v1. Besides the mge practice looks a lot more like the scout v scout 6s fights either in an open ground on some random place, or around corners.

But I think the scout v soldier is harder for the scout in MGE i dont think its good because its not at all the same kinda fight you would have in 6s. For example in 6s its more like air denying and in MGE its all about like executing some sort of path to get in his face and 3shot

as to train in 6's, just do scout v scout, that's what i do

but for real, i believe playing actual games is the best way to improve, and DM servers is the closest experience youll get to a real game environment. scout god yz50 said play DM a few hours per day and youll see massive improvements in the long term.
