I've played with Rusty on Eleven Gaming and the Portland Burnsiders. He's been grinding hard and definitely focused on growing as a competitive TF2 player for quite a while. He might chat your ear off about arm wrestling, but he's also engaged in other hobbies outside of TF2 that would provide him with good "crosstraining".

His demo pounds, his aggression was sometimes de-synced with the Burnsiders, but yknaow, we were having a lot of difficulties so I think if he's played with more he can pound hard. Scout does sort of fit his personality a bit more though, so we switched him to pocket scout for our last week and it was going well. Is definitely otw up.
