Sensitivity randomly lowering mid game

Me and a couple of my teammates have had our sensitivity randomly drop. Then the number does not change and our dpi's don't chance either but it is still a much lower sensitivity for no reason. The only fix we found was to restart your game. Has anyone else experienced this/know another fix?

It's a bug relating to the steam overlay. They already fixed it in beta, not sure about release.
