[b]Just about 2 weeks remain before Valve will [url=https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/4784-4F2B-1321-800A]abandon its support of Steam on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 on 1/1/24[/url], due in part to Chromium and its Embedded Framework also abandoning these platforms.[/b] Any future TF2 updates that moves the minimum Steam client version beyond the last one available for 7/8.1 will render it unplayable unless you upgrade Windows.
