Alt tabbing problem

Tf2 used to work with alt tabbing (slow but worked) now after steampipe it just crashes every time i do it or doesn't show my screen like it's pitch black but i can move my player and shit. I play on fullscreen and when i try windowed the startbar distracts me a lot and it is just weird

I'm so fucking stupid i was about to say my ingame res is smaller than my native but i can just change my windows res down to match it.. thanks sherb even though i was already doing that.

edit: otherwise i'd just have a nasty 100 pixel gap in between my game and my desktop toolbar and shit

If you had the brightness up in fullscreen and want something similar in windowed, add this to your hudlayout.res. (Credit goes to Vile for this.)
