This site loads super fast

Not sure why, but when I refresh the page its almost instant loading. On most other forum sites it takes a few seconds to load the whole page but this is super fast.
Magic?

its great. the only problem I have noticed is the frag clip thread. with all the videos being posted it freezes my page for a good 30 seconds then starts working once everything is loaded. not sure if its just me.

not just you -- as of now all embedded videos are preloaded flash containers

i'll change them to be static images that only load the actual flash video upon click when i get back from the norcal lan this weekend

if it's a big issue for some of you on lower-powered systems, you can disable flash embedding here:

because its loading all the vids, nothing you can do about it i think, id imagine its for everyone including me
