adding on: tried without the config, still crashes. tried uncapping frames, still crashes. tried capping frames at other values, still crashes :/
I had this problem before and it was cause my config kept making sv_allow_wait_command set to 0 which made me crash.
Are you on dx8? If so make sure the map doesnt require dx9 or higher.
What map are you trying to play? I know jump_orestes for example will crash if you launch it on dx8 but i dont recall any other maps with the same problem right now, there probably are more tho.
i'm on dx9
so far it's crashed on every jump map i've tried: jump_beef, jump_4starters, jump_noskillrequired, jump_home, and a couple of others
edit: the length of time before crashing does vary - sometimes it's 10 seconds sometimes it's 2 minutes, but guaranteed to crash
sorry for late reply - played around with a few things and turns out it was my hud. i was using an old outdated version of m0rehud black, and updating it seems to have solved the issue. cheers :)
although, i don't know why this would only affect jump maps + mge (only found yesterday). any ideas? would like to find out
mlns, I am not 100% sure, but some huds aren't compatible with different game modes. eg. doesn't work with passtime because it doesn't have required hud elements. It could be related to that or it could be because the hud wasn't compatible with the recent update.
