yo,

recently got this monitor and i've been enjoying all the fancy tech for sure:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0845QFDVM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

i haven't messed with gsync until i got this monitor though, so i'm wondering what the optimal settings are in terms of pure input lag. is there even a noticeable difference between gsync + vsync/gsync/fixed refresh at that hertz level? i dont trust my own eyes at this point so i thought i'd get some outside opinions

i've been using this guide for most of my thoughts, but idk how focused they are on the competitive side of things vs just a smooth experience: https://blurbusters.com/gsync/gsync101-input-lag-tests-and-settings/3/

pixel density doesn't matter too much but you may want to move your monitor further back

gsync is useless if your min fps is higher than your refresh rate so turn it off if that is the case. otherwise cap your fps at your refresh rate minus 3.

yeah my min fps doesn't hit 280 (shocker), though i can get over it most of the time. ive messed around with fps caps
