For me this is like tf2 jump but without the stress of learning how to complete the map before (if ever) being able to go fast. Looks like one has to be very precise and get timings right to go fast but even without that it's really fun and relaxing to fly around. For me not having to hold jump and crouch makes it much more comfortable to play than tf2 jump
If this had CTF / pass time game mode + a rocket launcher this would be the best arena fps ever

people do not react the same way to that. BTW motion blur can be disabled.
I can see a problem for colorblind people though.
But motion sickness can be caused by varied things. For instance, tfc conc grenades, or tf2's 'turn around in a snap second to jump' thing

Not quite, verlet swing looks like it's only swinging whereas cyber hook is mostly pulling, plus shenanigans like wall running and double jump
