Didn't really catch the news sorry :/

It was a couple weeks ago, IIRC, but the reason is because he stopped having fun; he was doing a lot more work on managing the team than he wanted to and he felt that their playstyle was not matching that of his. Pudding Cup is his replacement (he was already on backup for Ginyu Force).

Playstyle wasn't really an issue, but I did feel that having to call and focus on other things was making me play a bit worse. At the end of last season I specifically requested that I not have to organize or call anymore, but since nobody else would do it, I fell into it again. It was becoming such a chore just to get everyone organized and ready to play that I stopped having any fun at all. The frustration of trying to call as pyro where I could neither deal out important damage or heals didn't help either, but again, nobody else would do it.

Pudding Cup was there, willing to play, and a better fit for what the team needed so I left. I can't say I'm happy not to be playing anymore, but I'm happy I got out of the position I felt forced into.
