Does this work if you re exec the cfg, or do you have to actually changelevel? Genuinely curious.

Don't know as I haven't tried myself, but it does persist across rounds (a round ends, everyone respawns, player still has buddha mode). Re-execing the config during soap DM doesn't even force a respawn so it may not work.
