Does "Higher CPU priority" and "Ultraaccelerator" help at all with overall server quality? I understand that "Higher CPU priority" kicks in when their box is under heavy load, but how often does that happen with NFO? As for "Ultraaccelerator", it's meant to increase tickrate but since orangebox games are capped at 66.6... tick then the only thing this option will have bring is having the server running on linux. Is a linux server better than a windows server?

Tickrate 100 causes bugs with source engine, everything is optimized for 66, I don't see how it could possibly be beneficial. Higher CPU priority only helps if they don't load their servers appropriately... which is always possible, companies want to rent out as many game servers as they can.

It's very rare High CPU Priority to kick in but it's nice to have if you have an extra couple bucks to spend. In a tl;dr, ultra makes your server sided fps a lot more stable and overall a more smooth server. I highly recommend it to everyone especially since it's only $5.00.

I don't pay for CPU priority and I've never wished I had it, but I'm sure the moment I need it I'll be a very sad server owner
