i'm sure this is a simple fix but steam pipe fucked my world up. Now when I load the resource/scripts folders into my /common/team fortress 2/ etc my tf2 doesn't load the hud. Can anyone help?

i'm sure this is a simple fix but steam pipe fucked my world up. Now when I load the resource/scripts folders into my /common/team fortress 2/ etc my tf2 doesn't load the hud. Can anyone help?
where are you putting your hud, in tf or in custom/my_custom_stuff

make a folder in your custom folder then put the resource and scripts in there

You're pretty late to the party but w/e
You now have to place your custom files into another folder and not into the usual /scripts and /resources
It should look like this
Steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/tf/custom/*insertrandomnamehere*/HUD/resource
Not sure if you have to have the /HUD sub folder but I have it anyway and it works.
Also don't delete your normal /resource /script folder in /tf
