In Counter-Strike: Global Offensive there is an In-Game PUG system that VALVE incorporated with the game. What I am wondering is why has VALVE not also implemented this into TF2?
they don't really care about tf2 being a competitive game
valve has said that tf2 was really meant to be a game to test stuff on. (mann co store, f2p, etc.) even though this game has a good community and competitive capability, they really don't care much for the competitive scene sadly.
I think this might be implemented in Team Fortress 3 (If it is ever released XD).

It's possible, but it would require a lot of work to port everything over to a new engine and write a whole new game. My guess is that they'll take the WoW approach and keep supporting the game until it eventually dies to the point where maintaining all the infrastructure for it isn't worth it anymore.

Valve doesn't support competitive play or balance.
They support getting money though.

YEAH! It's almost as if all they care about is turning a profit! What do they think they are, a company??
I wouldn't mind paying something for a PUG-Pass or something. (like the dota spectator passes for example!) As long as the thing is really, really well done!
