So I was watching harbleu stream and noticed that his hud has these... notes on the bottom.

How does that work? Is that just part of his hud/configs? Is it something external?

I think it's a built-in closed captioning system. Crack Clan has a nice little video on it, and has the code for installing it (I think) in the description.

I remember this being used a lot when hitsounds and damage numbers were not in the game. It also helped tell when the other team would get uber, until medics started spamming every voice command known to man
