Is it necessary or beneficial to be running LCore with the G400s? It seems to take a lot of processor power and I feel like I'm dropping frames. Do I need the software running to get 1000Hz?

don't use 1000Hz polling rate if ur lagging, 500 is fine. polling uses cpu power and if it's too high your cpu performance will suffer

@ #3: Wow, thanks for the heads up! 125Hz polling rate uses 2%, 3% for 250Hz, 5% for 500Hz, and almost 10% for 1k on my CPU. Didn't realize it before. Using C2D e8500 (oc'ed to 3.5GHz) by the way.
