Yes, it was canceled, although Groening will supposedly try to get it picked up by another network.

It's time to let it die. This last season was not up to par. If people aren't watching it on Comedy Central, they're not going to watch it on any other channel. Netflix may have a shot, which would be interesting. But honestly, I'm a huge Futurama fan and I just had no interest in watching some of these last episodes.

Agreed. Quality control was not up to the standard it used to be at. I have really high hopes for boondocks s4, though.

Yeah the quality was all over the place the last couple of seasons. You had a few great ones (The Late Phillip J Fry is their best episode, imo) but overall it was average or bad.
I would sort of prefer if he just started to work on a new animated series. Or make Simpsons good again.

Jumped ship as soon as they started that epic meme commercial thing. Really sucks that it tanked, I loved Futurama, preferred it over the Simpsons. Writers are just losing their touch, and I can't blame them, they've been writing for shows that are really old.

the show might not have been as good as the previous seasons but I dunno, there are much worse shows that should be on the chopping block in place of it.
