You can't really beat the goliathus.
-Had mine for 2 years and shows minimal signs of wear
-Needs washing maybe once a week with a wet towel to keep mouse sensor clean
-Two versions to please you
-Nice and big if you get the right version

Razer is mostly building hype for their products. Razer mouse pads are always good, especially the Goliathus, but they aren't the only good brand out there.

My SteelSeries QcK has been amazing and I've heard many say that the Puretrak Talent is just as good if not better. To answer your question, yes, those mouse pads aren't bad at all.
