So I'm looking for a pair of IEMs/ear buds I'm the 50-100$ range. Something with a decent sound stage and neutral or bright sound would be awesome. Anyone got recommendations or experience?

Edit - Meant to put ear buds, not headphones

do they have to be IEMs? If you just want headphones, the ATH-M50s are on sale for 109 dollars on amazon, which is a fantastic price for them, great closed headphones.

Got a pair, looking for something much more compact. I love my M50s, though.

Yeah, I love the M50s too. Look into modding them with DT770 velour earpads, so much more comfortable after.

Someone really doesn't like this thread.

I've had good experience with some old UE3 single driver headphones, but I don't think they make them anymore; it was from before logitech bought them. Otherwise I know Shure aren't bad, but I'm not sure they are the #1 choice anymore. Etymotics is a top brand as well.

If you have some extra cash one day lying around, try some ear1964s, which are custom molded to you ear. I know people who have them, and apparently they are quite nice, and very good for the price.

Yeah, maybe you should read some firsthand impressions from someone who has reviewed over 300 earphone models instead of declaring your love for someone who recommended you a pair of earphones based on them being better than some gaming headsets.

I read over some of the options, and I'm considering them. Saying that I love him was my way of overstating that I'm considering his suggestion too.
