Recently (before the Halloween update) my scattergun reload sound has been messed up. It is extremely staticy and takes about 3 seconds to play. I have changed from Chris Max Frames to M0re's, defragmented the game, verified the game, and reinstalled multiple times and it is still messed up. I have looked around and could find a solution or even anyone else with this problem. Any ideas on how I could fix this?

Are you using any custom sounds? I've heard that custom sounds can sometimes get fucked up when playing on pure servers.

No I am not using custom sounds or models. I deleted all the ones I used to use about 4 months ago so its not that. Any other ideas that anyone can come up with would be greatly appreciated.

The scout reloading sound is the only thing that gets distorted? No other games are messed up in anyway?

Did you update your sound drivers before this happened? Also nice to know there's another 500 out there.

Yeah it was the scattergun reload sound only and now it is fixed. Don't know what I did but now I have not had that problem for about 3 days now so I assume its gone. Just checked back to say that and see if anyone had any ideas on what caused this. I'm not sure about my sound drivers but I did update my PC a couple of weeks ago when it started so that could be it.
