Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can get into the lobby? I keep getting stuck at the connecting screen.

I really like tf2center as a substitute for tf2lobby, but I think people are overstating it as being "so much better."
The community is ultimately the same as the tf2lobby community which means the same amount of 5-0 rolls, the same amount of people who quit mid lobby, and the same amount of people who offclass the entire duration.
I'd say of my past 5 tf2center games, 3 of them were 5-0 stomps and 2 of them were rcon quit within the first 5 minutes. That being said, I do like the layout of the site and the mumble integration.

Tbh the few tf2center lobbies I've done have been worse than tf2lobby. Will probably get better in the future though. Hopefully tf2.gg will be good as well, haven't personally done any there yet.

hmm no sorry, its premise is entirely different, just the fact that you actually use comms. And mumble integration.
Its not the same as tf2lobby even if the community is the same

I played around 40 lobbies at tf2center and maybe 70% have been close matches with great comms. From m experience tf2center/tf2.gg is a lot better then tf2lobby.

I played a game there. Our medic had 6 hours of tf2.

I've played maybe 20 tf2center games in total now and I can tell you with all honesty that not one of them had all 6 players in mumble.
I'd like to point out that I don't mind, and I've even made a post a while back saying that I liked the casual atmosphere of tf2lobby. However, the people who talk in mumble for tf2center are the same people who used in-game chat in tf2lobby, so yeah it's pretty much the same.

Yeah, I think a lot of people don't have it still. It was a bit better when tf2center was in the limited beta for the first weekends, it seemed like the people that knew about it had mumble and knew how to play HL/6's.
I've liked it so far, better than tf2lobby. You still get some guys who are kind of new [I played a 6's lobby and one of our Scouts offclassed Engi for most of the game] but yeah, it is just a lobby so I wouldn't count on taking it too seriously. The readyup mechanics are nice when they're not glitching out.
