Hey,
I was wondering if there are any scripts / cfg's that allow me to give TF_bots more health?
I remember seeing some videos of people training airshots against normal bots ( the puppet bots ) and in some way they had way more health beyond the normal limit.
Someone told me about a method where you could decrease the amount of damage done, but that doesn't simulate the splash damage ( launching bots in the air etc ) in the same way.
So please,
Anyone here who knows how to give tf_bots more health?

bot_command *botname* "hurtme -*how much more health you want to give them*"
eg
bot_command bot01 "hurtme -999999"
with sv_cheats 1 of course

Thanks for your reply, but I said TF_bots, not the one you add by saying bot -add but by saying tf_bot_add.
-edit-
It doesn't even work for normal bots either :/

I found it easier to momentarily bind mouse1 to "+attack;bot_refill". Every time you click to shoot, it resets the bots' health and ammo.
bind mouse1 "+attack;bot_refill"

Once again, I'm talking about the TF_bots, not the normal ones that don't move by themselves.

I didn't know there was a difference, sorry!

ok, I got curious. Seems like a no on quick glance.

Hello, I don't know if this post is still active but I have something you might fancy. I read you wanted to practice air shots. I don't know if you've ever heard of tr_rocket_shooting, but its what I use. Although the bots are stagnant, I have found it quite help full. It's also a lot more hassle free then anything previously stated to my knowledge. Here a video demonstration and the download link to the map if you find yourself inclined to give it a shot. Oh and I'm sure you already know, but if you want to launch the map, just type "MAP" (space) "MAPname" map name being "tr_rocekt_shooting2".

Thanks for both of your input, but this is not what I am referring to.
I want to give TF_BOTS more health.
I like to play in the offline mode vs bots on various maps, and giving the bots extra health would make it more enjoyable for me.

I want to give TF_BOTS more health.
I like to play in the offline mode vs bots on various maps, and giving the bots extra health would make it more enjoyable for me.
I have now found a 2nd method, thanks to my friend Casual I am 1 step closer to reaching my goal:
//Personal portable regen for offline jumping!
sv_cheats 1
sv_allow_wait_command 1
wait 5;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "classname func_regenerate_temp"
wait 10;give func_regenerate
wait 20;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "StartDisabled 1"
wait 20;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "mins -100000 -100000 -100000"
wait 20;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "maxs 100000 100000 100000"
wait 30;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "solid 2"
wait 30;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "spawnflags 1"
wait 35;ent_fire func_regenerate enable
This script allows you to get regenned anywhere on the map by the resup cabinet, although this only happends once in every 4 seconds which is not very helpfull for demoman vs demoman combat.
So now my 2nd question: Does anyone know a method to let the resup cabinet give you a BOOST instead of refilling your health (impulse 101 effect)
OR does anyone know how to let the resup cabinet regen your health every second?
Cheers

because nobody else seems to have a solution, I wrote this up in literally five minutes purely from memory. it compiles properly and, as far as I know, the logic should be fine.
it's a sloppy implementation by looping through every player on the server each frame and setting their health to 200. ideally you would reduce all damage to, like, 1 (almost positive it doesn't affect splash) or something like that.

you're going to need to figure out how to install sourcemod locally, there should be some tutorials somewhere.

Hey man, thanks a lot!
Yeah I know how to install sourcemod locally, that's not a problem.
I'll try it out this afternoon and let you know if it works, if it does, thanks a bunch!

if(IsClientInGame(GetClientOfUserId(i)) && GetClientHealth(GetClientOfUserId(i)) < 200)
{
SetEntityHealth(i, 200);
Is it possible to change this health to a higher number, let's say 1050, and then let it only regen ONCE?

I FOUND A WAY TO DO IT:
1. Download bl4nk's max health changer: http://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=115123
2. Remove
if (GetClientTeam(client) == 2)
<-- Since this plugin was originally written to be used in L4D it was written to only boost the health of 1 team, that's why you remove this line.
3. Save this in your cfg folder as a .cfg file:
//Personal portable regen for offline jumping!
sv_cheats 1
sv_allow_wait_command 1
wait 5;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "classname func_regenerate_temp"
wait 10;give func_regenerate

wait 20;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "maxs 100000 100000 100000"
wait 30;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "solid 2"
wait 30;ent_fire func_regenerate addoutput "spawnflags 1"
wait 35;ent_fire func_regenerate enable
4. Go in tf2, add some bots, open console: sm_maxhealth xxx and exec resup.
Now you can play vs bots with whatever the amount of health you want, and your weapon will be automatically reloaded every ~4 seconds.
Thanks to bl4nks health changer, anakins input & casuals resup cfg :)
