BXHud Crosshair Into Garm3n

Hey everyone,
Im trying to transfer the BXHud crosshair into the Garm3n Hud.
I followed this step by step http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wPH6On2F0Pw but I cannot get it to show.

So far I only get a "1" next to my crosshair.
Ray does talk about that in his video, but even while doing everything he does, I cannot get it to come up.
Is garm3n different?
Any ideas on a fix?
