I didn't know if "TF2 Help" was the correct category to ask this but I wanted to know if my stream quality is decent. I downloaded OBS today and read mr.slin's and skyride's guides on streaming and started tweaking some settings and I ended up with this:Your text to link here...
This video is just a random file output (I would have linked the VOD but my past broadcast aren't appearing for some reason) I did but I also tried actual streaming with these settings and I got no lag when playing, but I just wanted to know if this looked/sounded okay to other people (my res is 1440x900 so it still looks kinda bad but its the best res I can get on this monitor).
sorry for my music as well (I wanted to test that too) and for randomly talking to myself. I was testing out my mic and kinda making notes to myself. Sorry for bad game play too, I was messing around, I'm shit, but not this level of shit.
Anyways, is it good? Should I be recording in game capture or window capture? Are there any recommendations on what to change in obs to make it look better?

I'm not going to dl a .mp4, but why not open a twitch account and do a quick stream to see first hand? Just be sure to save past broadcasts in your twitch settings so you can see it.

Looks fine to me, especially seeing how some people stream with quality like this

so I recorded a quick 30min stream. here it is:http://www.twitch.tv/cavalcade_/b/502287063
I think the quality is fine but it looks kinda laggy. I streamed at 30 fps, would 60 fix this? (I have 30 down 5 up internet speed, would this be fast enough).

Looks fairly normal to me, I wouldn't really worry about having to change much settings. 60 FPS would be a plus to your stream over 30 FPS but I'm rather sure 45 would look fine too.
